The Arroyo High School Instrumental Music program has been supporting and addressing the
music education needs of our students since 1955.  Our goal from the very beginning has been
to foster a life-long love of music that will grow with the student, to provide a challenging field
in competition, on the stage in concert, and on the streets in parades and band reviews.  Our
program offers a wide variety of ensembles for our students, including Jazz Band, String
Orchestra, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Indoor
Percussion Ensemble, and Color Guard/Dance Prop Production.

Over the years, the Arroyo Knights have proudly represented Arroyo High School and the City
of El Monte, California both locally and nationally.  From ribbon cuttings at local businesses to
marching in our hometown parade; from local music festivals to national and international
music festivals, our students have received recognition for their excellent performances.  
Beyond the music, our students also achieve in the academic classroom with over 90% of our
band members being accepted to the top universities and colleges in the nation.

Every donation to the Arroyo High School Band supports our mission of encouraging
excellence in all areas of the lives of our students, from field to stage to classroom.  We ask that
you consider making a donation to support the Arroyo Instrumental Music programs. All
donations are tax deductible through our status as a 501c3 charity (public high school).  
Corporate and community sponsorships are available at levels ranging from $100 to $25,000 or
more.

Donors may also make personal tax deductible contributions which may be directed to the
entire band or to individual band or color guard members.  Non-directed gifts (to the entire
band) are used to provide financial assistance to deserving and needy students. Levels of
giving begin at $25, and may range up to pledging to sponsor a member for the entire season.
